Service Description
Three days. One epic acting experience. Actors Jam is a high energy day camp designed for young performers ready to dive deeper into their craft, push their creativity and connect with a community of passionate actors. Across three action packed days, students will explore new performance techniques, take creative risks, build confidence and have a whole lot of fun along the way. Across three full days, teens will train with AAA specialist coaches in a rotating intensive format, exploring areas including but not limited to: - Clowning - Absurdism - Improvisation and spontaneous storytelling - Movement and physical theatre - VO + Foley Each evening, the full group reunites for extended whole-ensemble sessions, building creative stamina, confidence and connection through shared challenges and large-scale collaborative experiences. Actor's Jam is about artistic growth, creative risk-taking, and belonging within a committed ensemble. It is immersive, challenging and highly rewarding - offering students a taste of professional rehearsal-room energy in a supportive and age-appropriate environment. Media Use We may take photos or videos during classes for the Academy’s website, social media, or promo material. If you’d prefer your child not be included, just let us know in writing. Some classroom filming may also occur for educational purposes. 2. Safe, Supportive Spaces We create a nurturing, fun environment where your child can grow. Like any activity, there may be small risks (e.g. minor injury or emotional moments). By enrolling, you understand and accept these risks. 3. Medical Care If your child is unwell or injured, we’ll contact you. If it’s urgent and we can’t reach you, we may seek medical help. You agree to cover any related costs. Our team holds basic first aid training only. 4. Personal Belongings We can’t take responsibility for lost or damaged items. Please label belongings clearly and avoid sending valuables to class. 5. Your Responsibility If your child causes injury or damage during a class, you may be asked to cover the costs involved. 6. Medical Info Please share any important medical details (allergies, injuries, conditions) when enrolling, and keep us updated if anything changes. 7. Cyber Safety Phones and devices may only be used in class with permission. No filming, texting or posting about others without consent. Devices are not allowed in change rooms or bathrooms. Unsafe or disrespectful online behaviour may lead to removal from the program.
