2-Day Kids Green Screen Film Lab
Service Description
Step into the world of screen acting and cinematic storytelling. Across this two-day holiday intensive, students will collaborate to devise, rehearse and film their own original short skits using green screen technology to produce an immersive and fun to watch scene. Working in small ensembles, participants will: - Develop character and narrative structure - Explore screen acting techniques - Strengthen voice, focus and performance clarity - Build confidence performing on camera - Experience the technical process of green screen filming Guided by our specialist coaches, students will learn how performance choices translate to screen, and how physicality and imagination bring digital worlds to life. This workshop is ideal for young performers who are curious about film, love collaborative storytelling, and are ready to extend their acting skills in a practical and highly engaging environment.

Media Use We may take photos or videos during classes for the Academy’s website, social media, or promo material. If you’d prefer your child not be included, just let us know in writing. Some classroom filming may also occur for educational purposes. 2. Safe, Supportive Spaces We create a nurturing, fun environment where your child can grow. Like any activity, there may be small risks (e.g. minor injury or emotional moments). By enrolling, you understand and accept these risks. 3. Medical Care If your child is unwell or injured, we’ll contact you. If it’s urgent and we can’t reach you, we may seek medical help. You agree to cover any related costs. Our team holds basic first aid training only. 4. Personal Belongings We can’t take responsibility for lost or damaged items. Please label belongings clearly and avoid sending valuables to class. 5. Your Responsibility If your child causes injury or damage during a class, you may be asked to cover the costs involved. 6. Medical Info Please share any important medical details (allergies, injuries, conditions) when enrolling, and keep us updated if anything changes. 7. Cyber Safety Phones and devices may only be used in class with permission. No filming, texting or posting about others without consent. Devices are not allowed in change rooms or bathrooms. Unsafe or disrespectful online behaviour may lead to removal from the program.
