Adult 2 Night Acting for Camera Workshop
Ever wanted to give acting for camera a go but didn’t know where to start?
Service Description
This 2 night workshop is a simple, supportive way to step in, learn the basics, and actually get in front of the camera. Night 1: Thursday 9th April | 6:30–8:30pm (allow up to 9pm) We start with the foundations. You’ll work on a short script, learn how to break it down, see what’s working, and understand how to put your best foot forward on camera. Night 2: Thursday 16th April | 6:30–8:30pm allow up to 9pm) This is your chance to film your scene. You’ll step up, put it into practice, and walk away with real on-camera experience. What you’ll get: - Practical tools to approach a script with clarity and confidence - Your own filmed scene sent to you after the workshop - A simple self-critique guide so you can watch it back and see what worked and how to improve - A relaxed, supportive space to give it a go Whether you’re brand new or just a bit rusty, this is about getting comfortable on camera and building confidence. $110 for both sessions!

Media Use We may take photos or videos during classes for the Academy’s website, social media, or promo material. If you’d prefer your child not be included, just let us know in writing. Some classroom filming may also occur for educational purposes. 2. Safe, Supportive Spaces We create a nurturing, fun environment where your child can grow. Like any activity, there may be small risks (e.g. minor injury or emotional moments). By enrolling, you understand and accept these risks. 3. Medical Care If your child is unwell or injured, we’ll contact you. If it’s urgent and we can’t reach you, we may seek medical help. You agree to cover any related costs. Our team holds basic first aid training only. 4. Personal Belongings We can’t take responsibility for lost or damaged items. Please label belongings clearly and avoid sending valuables to class. 5. Your Responsibility If your child causes injury or damage during a class, you may be asked to cover the costs involved. 6. Medical Info Please share any important medical details (allergies, injuries, conditions) when enrolling, and keep us updated if anything changes. 7. Cyber Safety Phones and devices may only be used in class with permission. No filming, texting or posting about others without consent. Devices are not allowed in change rooms or bathrooms. Unsafe or disrespectful online behaviour may lead to removal from the program.
