An actor has three tools. the voice, the mind and the body. When we communicate in acting or in life, studies have shown 55% of what we do is physicality, 38% is tone and texture of voice and the 7% is communicated by words. Yet we seem to spend the least amount of time on readying our body to communicate. As actor (and a good communicator) learning how to express meaning through movement is crucial.
In this exciting workshop you will get to work with Siobhan Gibbs, a professional performer who has trained and specialised in the use of body to convert meaning. You will push your boundaries as a performer and at the end of this workshop you will feel more comfortable with your body, and ready to is it to tell you story. Due to the nature of the work, places are limited.
Please ensure that you advise us ahead of the workshop if you have any injury, or physical requirement that you may need us to work around to ensure that you get the very best out of the workshop while keeping you safe!
